Notes
A columnar pear tree; in 2011 it produced some blossom and one fruit; in 2012 lots of blossom but only 2 fruit, one of which ripened to semi-ripe. 2013: Another couple of fruit. 2014: FRUIT EVERYWHERE. Covered in blossom, then covered in pears. 8kg estimated, some of which could only be 'harvested' when a friend came round with a long-handled lopper to take the top half of the tree off, as it had shot up to well over 15 ft tall!!!
