PermalinkSo, we were terrified that the new peach tree (just planted last summer) had died during the winter. It lost all its leaves!
Then a few weeks ago it grew two flowers. Now it is full of flowers, and the new leaves are from 2 to 5 cm long. It's looking very healthy.
And flowers means fruit, right? Right? If we are lucky we'll get plenty of peaches. Wondering what kind they are.

It is pretty disturbing when your lovely new trees suddenly appear so dead!
And another comment… flowers mean fruit if they're fertilised… find a possible pollinator and take to it with a paintbrush, (and then your own), just to be sure:-)
