It's early February here in Zone 5B, and the weather is being its unpredictable self, but we [no, not the mouse in my pocket, my partner and girlfriend and roommate] have plans for tomorrow!

We're going to go shopping at various hardware stores for things we need to improve our raised-bed gardens and – weather permitting – start working on those.

I have green onions and a couple of leeks happily sprouting away on my kitchen windowsill for transplanting later, and I cannot wait for it to be just a little later in the year so I can actually get to work!
