Nasturtium Tropaeloum spp.

We grow this in a big terracotta pot over near the clothesline. Previously we had it in a different pot near the back fence, but it got a bit triffid-like and also seemed to be attracting whitefly, so we ripped it out and relocated the nasturtiums to an area further away from the more delicate vegies etc.

At present there are a handful of nasturtiums sprouting in their official tub, a bunch more in the garden-waste-heap (I won't dignify it by calling it a compost heap) where we tossed the triffids we pulled up, and more here and there through the area around the vegie containers because of seeds the triffid dropped. We will never be short of nasturtiums should we need them.
